Boat Paint Vs Gelcoat
Paint vs gel coat.. painted boats are way less durable, harder to clean hard water spots, more difficult to sell, and usually bring less money. i have painted for almost 30 years, but gel coat is the way to go.. Gel coat vs. paint i just came in from cleaning my albemarle. my gel coat is really starting to need work. is it worth it to have gel coat repair done? if i was to have the boat painted, do they just spray over the gel coat cracks? what are the life expectency and benefits of paint over gel coat?. Not sure if i should do gel coat or paint. you should do a video on repainting step by step of sides and the rest of the boat. haha gel coat seems as a harder material..
